Chan has works in the permanent archives of the V&A Museum (2016), Ingram Collection (2020) and Royal Collection, Clarence House (2018). She is a recipient of the Canada Council for the Arts (CCA) Explore & Create Grant (2021), CCA Digital Originals Innovation Grant, Ingram Prize and Queen Sonja Print Award Finalist (all 2020). Kristina has been nominated once again for the Queen Sonja Print Award (2024). She is a two-time recipient of the Elizabeth Greenshield’s Foundation Project Grant (2017, 2018), 1st place winner of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers RE Anthony Dawson Printmakers Prize, Royal Scottish Academy RSA Guthrie Award, Wyng Media Award WMA Public Commission Finalist (all 2017), Villiers David Travel Grant (2015), Canadian General Governor’s Award for Excellence (2010), Government of Canada’s Millennium Award (2009). In 2024, she made her television debut on Sky Arts Landscape Artist of the Year Series 9, winning her heat, semi-final, and finishing as a runner up on the illustrious en pleine air competition.

 

Kristina studied in Paris, receiving her BFA from Parsons Paris and went on to graduate Royal College of Art (RCA MA Print) in 2016.  In 2021, she founded Plaintiff Press, an editioning house and bespoke imprint, whose clients include The Design Museum, Whitechapel Gallery, Touchestones Museum, Lapworth Museum, Wandsworth Council, Royal College of Art, Eames Fine Art, Anise Gallery, amongst others.
