Duran Contemporain is delighted to announce its participation in EXPO CHICAGO 2025, marking the gallery's fourth appearance at the fair. This year, the gallery proudly presents the debut of Tuan Vu, showcasing a collection of six new paintings that exemplify his unique artistic vision.

Inspired by Post-Impressionism, particularly the works of Pierre Bonnard and Odilon Redon, Tuan Vu's paintings offer a compelling dialogue between East Asian cultural and landscape traditions and the compositional and chromatic sensibilities of European modernism. His work seamlessly merges delicate, atmospheric textures with bold, expressive color palettes, creating dreamlike scenes that are both deeply personal and universally resonant.

"Tuan Vu's work is a synthesis of influences that transcends geographical and historical boundaries," says Andres Duran, Director of Duran Contemporain. "With this new body of work, he masterfully bridges Eastern aesthetics and Western painterly traditions, presenting landscapes that feel timeless yet contemporary."
